Adam Winton is currently enrolled as a student at Chapman University in the Creative Writing M.F.A. program. While he has no published works, he has a three-book fantasy series planned, with many more ideas circulating for short stories and other novels. With a B.F.A. in Broadcast journalism, and a minor in philosophy, Adam hopes to tell stories that people can relate to, but also provide insight into new experiences and ideas. His stories find a way to blend humor with sincerity, providing opportunities for characters with varying beliefs to hash out their ideas, and undergo growth or change because of the worldly views presented to them. Adam believes that in most cases it is easier for people to let down their walls and preconceived notions when reading fantasy narratives rather than consuming stories from the news or documentary cycle. In a time that feels so divided, Adam is hoping to use his words to guide audiences toward the acceptance of other viewpoints, and confrontation of the ego.
