Tony Otten lives in Covington, Kentucky. He holds an MFA in fiction from the Warren Wilson Program for Writers. His stories have appeared in Hawai‘i Pacific Review, The Forge Literary Magazine, and Jabberwock Review. In his writing, he frequently centers the experiences of urban Appalachian people navigating displacement and making their way as immigrants caught between rural and city life. When he isn’t writing, he’s reading, going for walks without his watch or phone, or working in enrollment at a small liberal arts college.
