Charlotte Wyatt is a former zookeeper and ghost tour guide who earned an MFA from the University of Houston in 2019. There, she was awarded an Inprint Donald Barthelme Prize for fiction and was the inaugural Inprint/Creative Writing Fellow; she also served as a fiction editor for Gulf Coast: A Journal of Literature and Fine Arts. Her work in fiction has been supported by the Tin House Summer Workshop, the Napa Valley Writers’ Conference, the Desert Nights, Rising Stars Conference, and the National Parks Service. Her short fiction and other work may be found or forthcoming in Orion, Joyland, Electric Literature, and others. She is at work on a novel.
