Joshua Dysart is a New York Times Bestselling, Award Winning graphic novelist and prose novelist. He has authored over thirty works and been translated into seven languages, including Korean, Arabic & Swahili. He did on-the-ground research in Uganda (2007), Iraq (2014), and South Sudan (2016), and written about war and famine in those regions. He served as a consultant for the Nobel Peace Prize winning WFP (World Food Programme) in both the Middle East and Sub-Saharan Africa and consulted on an initiative for young comic book creators in Pakistan. “Goodnight Paradise”, Dysart’s murder mystery set in the houseless population of Venice Beach, California, was nominated for Best Mystery Graphic Novel of the year at the Angoulême International Comics Festival. His most recent prose novel is BROOD X. He lives in Los Angeles, California.
