Justin Price

Justin Price was born in Los Gatos, California, and raised in Denver, Colorado. He received a BFA from Academy of Art University in San Francisco and an MFA from Colorado State University in Fort Collins. His work investigates medium specificities, exploring the mark-making process to articulate an experience of space. Justin has exhibited both nationally and internationally, most recently at McNeese State University, Lake Charles, LA; Revolt Gallery, Taos, NM; Dinghy Rig, Fort Collins, CO; Zatara Contemporary, Santa Fe, NM; University Center for the Arts, Fort Collins, CO; The Lockwood Gallery, Kingston, NY; The University of Southern Mississippi, Hattiesburg, MS; CICA Museum, Gimpo, South Korea; The Arvada Center for the Arts, Arvada, CO; and The Art Vacancy, Brooklyn, NY. He has received numerous awards and scholarships, including the Kennedy Center Art Scholarship, the Graduate Teaching Fellowship at Colorado State University, and a Juror’s Purchase Award for the permanent collection at McNeese State University. Justin has also been featured in multiple publications, including Create Magazine, The Denver Post, and Denver Westword. He is currently an art instructor at Front Range Community College, Larimer Campus, in Fort Collins.
