Karen Combs' artwork and design pieces, all on paper, focus on brilliant color and drawing. She likes to communicate a mystical feeling  about the natural world. The work is about things like flowers, dewdrops, fungi and wild animals. Combs is also the creator of Nama Rococo wallpaper. Combs has a BA in printmaking and art history from Indiana University, and a Masters Certificate from Massachusetts College of Art in Boston. Nama Rococo wallpapers have been featured in the New York Times, Newsweek, Design Milk, The London Times, Maison Française, Elle Decoration Hong Kong, Vogue Living Australia, Departures, Metropolis, Entrepreneur, NYLON, and others.
