Linda Lombroso is a writer and editor who began her career in magazines and newspapers and has shifted her primary focus to fiction. Her staff positions at New York Magazine, Rolling Stone, US Magazine and Gannett – followed by a lengthy stretch as a writer at an academic medical center – required that she pursue her creative work after hours. But throughout, she found community in programs including the Wesleyan Writers Conference, the Iowa Summer Writing Festival and the Stanford Novel Writing Certificate Program. Currently, she is juggling two works-in-progress: the revision of her first novel and the writing of her second. Linda, a lifelong New Yorker, has three grown children and lives in New Rochelle, a suburb north of New York City. She is also a member of the L.I.N.D.A. Club, a national organization populated exclusively by women named Linda – an entertaining group that will likely finds its way into her next novel.
