Misa Shuford lives in North Carolina with her husband and two golden retrievers. She's written stories and poems since childhood. Eventually all the writing led to a BA in English Literature followed by an MFA in creative writing from St. Mary's College in Moraga, CA. With both of her daughters in college, she spent the past year taking several writing classes to relearn what she'd forgotten and is currently working on essays, short fiction and a collection of poetry.
