Rachel B. Levin is a Los Angeles-based journalist and creative nonfiction writer. Her articles and personal essays have explored L.A.’s vibrant dance subcultures and food scene, local and international travel, trends in wellness, and innovation in medicine and sustainability. Currently, she is a staff writer and multimedia journalist at the University of Southern California (USC), where her stories showcase the university’s world-class research and programs. A graduate of Stanford University, Rachel earned a master's in English and MFA in Creative Nonfiction Writing at USC. She has taught courses in composition and creative/expressive writing at USC, California State University Los Angeles, Los Angeles City College, and PCC Extension at Pasadena City College. An avid hip-hop dancer, nature lover, and yogi, Rachel lives in L.A.’s South Bay with her husband and brown tabby cat.
