Beth Shipley is a visual artist and educator working in the mediums of painting and drawing. She received an MFA from Pratt Institute in Painting and Art Criticism and a BS in Studio Art from Skidmore College. Her work has been exhibited in the US and abroad, including exhibitions at the Solar Grandjean, Brazil; AZ Project, Brooklyn; Whitelight Contemporary, NM; Park Place, NYC, Geoffrey Young Gallery, MA, Silvermine, CT; and the Mid-Atlantic Painting Biennial, MD. Her work has been supported by numerous grants and residencies. She is based in Brooklyn and teaches as an Associate Professor at Marymount Manhattan College.
