Something for Everyone
A Self-Directed Creative Retreat for Artists of All Disciplines
Dorland’s Residency Program welcomes artists seeking solitude, inspiration, and uninterrupted time to create. Writers, painters, poets, musicians, composers, photographers, and other creatives will find the quiet space and supportive setting they need to dive deep into their work.
Located on 300 acres of protected wilderness along the northern ridge of the Palomar Mountains, Dorland offers private cottages, panoramic views, and the peace of a natural sanctuary—peacefully secluded, yet conveniently accessible—Dorland strikes the perfect balance for a creative retreat.
