Jessica O’Dwyer is the author of Mother Mother (National Indie Excellence Award novel finalist) and Mamalita: An Adoption Memoir (winner, San Diego Book Award for memoir). Her writing has appeared in the New York Times Motherlode blog, San Francisco Chronicle, Scary Mommy, Mutha; and aired on public radio. Jessica is part of the Alumni Circle of Antioch Los Angeles, where she received her MFA; as well as a member of the Bay Area “Write On Mamas.” She has taught memoir workshops for adoptive families and leads a bimonthly meeting of parents with a focus on books that address adoption.
